Social Responsibility

Long-term social change

BY OFFERING TRAINING, work EXPERIENCE AND OPPORTUNITIES, OUR AIM IS TO ENGAGE WITH THE COMMUNITIES WHERE WE HAVE A PRESENCE

Our residents care about the community around them, and so do we. That’s why we created an independent community interest company, Essential Living Future CIC, dedicated to achieving social change across London.

Essential Living Future CIC aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people aged 16-24 who are living in deprived communities in London. In particular, those young people who are not in education, employment or training, have few or no qualifications, low skill levels and little aspiration for the future. This will be achieved through:

Local Partnerships

Forging relationships and working with key local partners and other learning providers to engage with young people.

Education And Training

Offering valuable education and training that will broaden professional horizons and make employment more accessible.

Work Experience

Offering young people vital experience that will develop their employability, confidence and interpersonal skills.

Employment

Championing and promoting apprenticeships in real estate, whether through Essential Living’s operations or those of others.

Autonomy

Although Essential Living Future CIC was created by Essential Living, it's been set up as an independent company

We made sure that Essential Living Future CIC was set up as a separate company with its own governance, business model and objectives, allowing the company to focus entirely on its core purpose of delivering effective, long-term social change – whether working with Essential Living or others.
